Who doesn’t love a Christmas wedding?! And this one was a banger from start to finish. . .
The day started at Silchester where I found Lee and the boy getting suited and booted up by the bar. All pretty chilled, no major nerves flying about, just getting suited up and searching for a pint. Easy. Meanwhile, the girls were soon arriving and putting on the finishing touches to their hair and makeup before getting in their dresses and ready to go. It wasn’t long before every one was ready, the guests were in their seats, and it was time for the “I do’s”. . .
The ceremony went without a hitch, and the room looked absolutely amazing too. We made our way out the back of the ceremony room for some canapés and drinks and to spend a bit of time with guests. Unfortunately, the weather hadn’t been on our side all morning, but finnnaaallllyy the clouds were parting and we had a glimpse of sunshine coming through. We grabbed the happy couple and made our way outside to grab a few snaps whilst the sun was happy to stay out. After a few group shots out in the Dutch Barn (love this barn!), we made our way over to the Cow Shed for a few snaps before the guests came in for dinner and speeches.
What better way to have Christmas dinner than with 100 of your favourite people around you! Dinner and speeches were brilliant. Lots of laughs, lots of love, loads of games. It was amazing! Not to mention how amazing the venue looked, topped off with brilliant decor from Two Little Birds.
After dinner, we made our way outside for the sparkler shot. 100 guests, 10 or so lighters. . .it’s never easy, but these guys smashed it! After a quick sparkler tunnel, the guests ran inside to warm up and were left to mingle and catch up whilst Stacey managed to sneak away for a quick outfit change. And what an outfit she came back in!
We grabbed a few snaps of Stacey and Lee in the Dutch Barn, which was now lit up and looked incredible, before heading inside the first dance. Stacey had given me the heads up that her crowd loved a dance floor, and they didn’t disappoint! You couldn’t get these guys off of there, they were busting shapes all night!
I had a blast with these guys, one of my favourite weddings of a very very busy year.
Big thanks for having me and even bigger congrats guys!
