Baddow Park House: Laura + Tim

I was finally going back to Baddow Park House! It had been too long since I got to shoot a wedding at this venue. I blooming love it there, so I was so excited to go back!

I arrived nice and early to find Laura getting ready in the salon, being the most chilled out bride-to-be I’ve ever seen! No nerves in sight for this bride! Hair and makeup was finished, so we made our way over to the house to hide away before Tim arrived.

The dress was on, Tim was suited and booted (with some banging cowboy boots!), and we were good to go! The ceremony was beautiful and intimate, surrounded by just their nearest and dearest. I love these smaller weddings, where everyone there means so much to the couple. It’s really lovely to see the couple have such amazing moments with their guests, rather than get lost in the crowds.

We went for a quick walk around the amazing grounds and inside the house too to grab a few snaps. I love this place, there’s so much to work with for your pics! We made our way out to the front of the house, where waiting for us was Laura and Tim’s pride and joy. . .mainly Tim’s. He’d restored this car and brought it back to life, so of course it was going to be part of their big day! (He also made the welcome sign and table plan-check those out!)

After a handful of group shots, and plenty more time with guests, we made our way inside for dinner. The room and décor were stunning, every little detail had been thought through, and it paid off big time. Also, and most importantly. . .dinner was absolutely banging. 10/10. Would recommend.

Evening guests began to arrive and there were hugs all round! I grabbed the happy couple for a quick couple of pics over in the vineyard as the sun was just starting to disappear, before heading back inside to get the party started. We cut the cake, did the first dance, then opened up the dance floor to everyone else. The rest of the night was spent dancing to Metallica, sitting around the firepit, and smashing back several slices of pizza. You can’t ask for anything better!

One of my favourite things about this job is getting to meet and work with really lovely people, and these two didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t be happier for them!

Big congrats guys.
