Look at these two dreamboats!
3 days after Christmas, I made my way over to Northbrook Park for K+C’s big day, and my final wedding of the year! The girls were nearby getting ready, and the boys were next door figuring out how to put a bow tie on. Soon, we were suited and booted, the guests had taken their seats, and we were ready to go…
The ceremony was a stunner. The log fire was burning, there were a few subtle Christmas decorations still up, and the whole thing was an absolute beaut. We had big laughs, a few tears, and two happy newlyweds walking back up the aisle. Everyone was soon heading outside to brave the cold weather and to absolutely cover these guys in confetti. On my final wedding of the year, it might be one of my fav confetti tunnels of the year!
We stayed outside to grab a few snaps of K+C and a handful of group shots after too, before we made our way back inside to spend some time with guests. We had Thom on guitar playing us some music, mulled wine being handed out, and the fire roaring in the corner. Allllll the Christmassy goodness you could hope for!
It wasn’t long before we were heading in for dinner and speeches, where we had even more tears and even bigger laughs. Some of my favourite speeches of the year, and I’ve seen some belters this year too! After dinner, we had a little bit of time before we opened up the dance floor, so why not have a big old sparkler tunnel!? It was a little chaotic, but aren’t all the best sparkler tunnels a bit chaotic?!
Katie slipped away for her dress change whilst everyone made their way inside to warm up and grab a drink. After a couple of night time snaps in the new dress, we headed back to the guests to pour the champagne tower and open up the dance floor for everyone.
The dance floor was heaving, the champagne was flowing, and one guy let a candle melt on his head…perfect.
This wedding was amazing, with incredible guests and two of the loveliest people right at the centre of it all. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out the year.
Congrats guys and big big thanks for having me!
