It’s no secret that I love a London wedding, and this one couldn’t have been any more London if Maria had been dressed as Big Ben.
The day started off with spotting Maria arriving as she walked along Tower Bridge with one of her bridesmaids, and grabbing a few snaps of her as she made her way upstairs to the ceremony room (yeah, they got married ON TOWER BRIDGE. So sick). I found Ben up in the ceremony room, mingling and chatting with guests, and everyone was soon sitting down and ready to get this show on the road. These guys were soon saying their “I do’s” and exchanging vows, before making their way back up the aisle with big old smiles on their faces.
After canapes and drinks and a quick visit to the glass bridge high above the road below (don’t look down!), we all made our way downstairs and outside where the groomsman had the fun job of stopping the traffic so we could get a cool little snap in the middle of the road on Tower Bridge. And they nailed it!
We made our way around to the awaiting party boat, where all the guests climbed aboard and partied up and down the Thames! Once they got started, there was no stopping them. Ben and Maria had their captain hats on and were keeping this party going, all the way to the Anchor Bankside pub where these guys spent the rest of the evening.
After some speeches and a few drinks, the sun was starting to set over London, so we nipped off for a little bit to grab some snaps of the newlyweds. From photos on the Millenium Bridge at sunset with St. Pauls in the background, to little back roads and hidden gems of London, we managed to bag some belters. The light was absolutely perfect, and these guys were so much fun to work with! (Bare foot running around London in a wedding dress? Count me in!)
We made our way back to the pub, and I left these guys to it. This was a banger of a wedding, and everyone had so much fun. I bloomin’ loved it! Thanks for having me there guys.
