I love a London wedding, it’s the best city in the world. So why wouldn’t you want it to be the backdrop of your wedding?! And these guys chose an absolute belter of a London venue, Trinity Buoy Wharf, one of my absolute favs.
The day started for me with Leah and her gang getting ready at a nearby hotel, whilst Michael was getting his kilt on and somehow managing to dress a baby at the same time. Major dad skills right there.
We were soon at Trinity Buoy Wharf, the guests had taken their seats, and these guys were ready to slap a ring on their hands and get the party started. Once they’d said their “I do’s” and we’d covered them in confetti, we managed to squeeze in a few group shots before surprising the rest of the guests with a surprise boat trip up and down the Thames. The weather was a bit…iffy. But there was now way this was gonna dampen any spirits! Even the passing party boats wanted to get involved (check the pics below!)
After this little tour of London up and down the Thames, we were back on dry ground and heading in for dinner and speeches, but not before a couple of quick snaps of the happy couple whilst guests found their seats!
The speeches were wrapping up just as the rain was buggering off and the sun was setting over London, so we ran outside for a quick couple of snaps in the lighthouse next door. A lighthouse. In London. YES. The city skyline up there is preeettttyyy dreeeaaammy!
Once we were back with the guests it was time for the first dance, and more importantly, time to light up the massive mirror ball! These guys were smashing up the dance floor all night, we just about managed to head outside for a couple of night time snaps, with The O2 all lit up in the background, before heading inside to join the guests on the dance floor again.
I had a blast at this one, and it’s always so cool to be taken to these amazing places as part of my job (can you call it a job when it’s this much fun?!).
Big thanks for having me guys!
