Well, well, well. . . Here it is. Becky and Dan’s big day. This wedding was a party from start to finish, the vibe was nuts. . . and I couldn’t get enough! It’s a bigger blog than normal, far too many photos to choose from for this one!
The day started with Becky and the girls getting ready at the house in the grounds of Hedingham Castle. There were a few tears (happy tears!), loads of laughs, and the sun was on our side too! Meanwhile, the boys were up the road getting ready, before heading to the cottage just up the path from us.
It wasn’t long before the dresses were on, the boys were suited and booted, and we were heading to the castle for the “I do’s”! The castle, as always, looked amazing and the ceremony room was perfect. We soon had two newlyweds grinning from ear to ear coming back up the aisle!
We made the most of the castle before heading back to their guests who were waiting with handfuls of confetti on the bridge. After they’d picked all of the petals out of their hair, we headed off for a few more shots in the amazing grounds, before jumping into a few group shots. We spent some time chilling with guests, enjoying the music, being amazed by the magician, and chucking Dan about in the air (keep an eye out for those pics. . .) before heading inside for the speeches.
After lots of laughter and a few tears, they sat down for dinner. . .but it didn’t last long with these guys. Everyone was soon back up on their feet and dancing. The sun was just starting to disappear, so we slipped away from the party for a couple of minutes for a final couple of pictures before the night set in.
The party continued, only pausing for a quick ten minutes for Becky and Dan to cut the cake and have their first dance. Then the band, Jam Hot, started their set and they tore the roof off! After their set finished, we snuck outside for one or two more shots before heading back to the party where Love Light Entertainment were keeping the dancefloor heaving, just before MC Kie arrived and stormed the stage. The list of entertainers at this wedding goes on and on, and they all absolutely smashed it.
This wedding was nuts, in the best way possible. It wasn’t just a great and fun wedding, it was a pleasure to photograph two of the nicest people as well.
I had a blast with these two, big congrats guys!
