The big day was finally here! It was Zoe and Kyle’s wedding, and my first big wedding in what felt like forever!
The day started at the lovely Apton Hall, up there as one of my favourite venues to work at. I found Zoe and the bridal party getting ready in the Granary. Everyone was pretty chilled, no major nerves, just relief that we were finally here and the sun was on our side!
Meanwhile, just up the road, Kyle and the boys were getting suited and booted. Soon the ties were on, waistcoats buttoned up, and laces were tied…then they were on their way!
The weather was amazing so the ceremony went ahead outside in the courtyard. Everything went without a hitch, and Zoe and Kyle were soon making their way back up the aisle, but this time as husband and wife!
After a bit of time with guests and some canapés, we went for a quick walk around the walled garden for some photos, before heading back to jump into the group shots. We finished up and even managed to squeeze in a quick round of mini golf before we made our way inside for dinner and speeches, which were full of love, laughter and a few tears too.
We swiftly moved into the cake cut, followed by the first dance which was outside under the canopy where the day began. Now, the party could really get started…
I was with these guys till the very end of the night, and they definitely did not disappoint! The dance floor was heaving, and I didn’t realise how much I’d missed it until that night. Whilst the guests inside tore up the dance floor, there were still many outside making the most of the casino games from Fun Casino Nights. It took a lot of restraint to not put the cameras down and play a few games and then go inside for a boogie…
We were lucky to get an amazing sunset, so we made the most of it and the amazing fields behind the venue. Soon the sun had faded away and we grabbed a few night time snaps outside, before we headed in for the final few songs. I had a ball with these guys. It was honestly so incredible to shoot a full day and see people up and dancing again.
Big big congrats, guys!
