Veronica and Oskar. Two absolute superstars, the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. I met these guys in London, and they invited me out to Sweden to photograph their wedding. Yes please!
They had their wedding at Nääs Slott, near Gothenburg. This place is stunning. The grounds are incredible and even better, the sun was out!
I found Veronica getting ready with her bridesmaid in a house near the castle, whilst Oskar was getting ready in the house opposite. I bounced between the two of them, documenting their bride and groom prep. There were no nerves in sight, these were two of the most excited people to get married ever!
The ceremony was soon underway, with lots of happy tears from these two and their guests as well. They’d soon put a ring on it and were beaming from ear to ear as they made their way back up the aisle. We lined the guests up and armed them with confetti, and then brought the newlyweds out and absolutely covered them in it!
These guys soaked up the love and the sun as they hung out with their guests. I blended into the background and documented everything as it happened. We soon made our way back up to the castle and around the grounds to grab some snaps of the happy couple. They were so much fun to hang out with, it was a pleasure to grab snaps of these guys!
It wasn’t long before we were heading back to guests and making our way inside for speeches and dinner. As dinner started to wrap up, that perfect golden light started to come through the windows. We made our way outside to make the most of golden hour and grabbed a handful of extra photos. Swedish golden hour light is preeetttyy dreamy, who knew?!
The dance floor was soon open, and these guys and their guests tore it up all night. After a quick dress change, and a few night time snaps too, Veronica was back on the dance floor and she didn’t leave for the rest of the night. I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by these guys and their guests, and it was a genuine pleasure to be a small part of their big day.
